7 vs 5 vs 4 elements: Earth, water, air, and fire are undisputed. Spirit is used often, and is occasionally broken into 3 seperate forms. When 7 elements are used, the first 4 are the "human" ones, with the higher 3 pretty much unattainable. In 5, everything that's seperate no longer is; it all "smears" together in an undescribable fashion (quantum mechanics? nah...). 6, I'm not sure of, but apparently Seth (whoever he/she/it is) resides here. And in 7 is the ultimate, the Godhead, all is one, etc. Then, there's the concept of a spectrum of elements, with each specific element just defining one bandwidth. Here's an idea, may or may not work out: 4 elements, 7 "levels/powers" to each element (but with only 4 humanly conceivable, they tend to get mixed). It's just complex enough, it just might work out into something usable... Name Colors Directions Qualities Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ? Clear?
