Cooling off, or warming up?

I had fun with this sketch since it is my first "water" drawing. I think it turned out pretty good, mainly because I did not over-do it. Sometimes it is rather nice to just draw someone and let the viewer make up their own mind about what the story revolving around the character is all about.

About the only 'facts' that I might offer up on this sketch is that it shows Dai (pronounced "Day") Blackclaw when he gets to be a little bit older than he is right now. Late teens, early twenties maybe.

This finished drawing differed from the preliminary sketch that initiated it in that the part in Dai's mane is on the left side of his head as it is shown here rather than on the right in the sketch. This is correct since Dai is right-handed.
