The FAQ is now in 6 parts. Basically, I've split up the old part 2 into 2 parts, and the old part 4 into 2 parts. I've added a few new bits. The FDA's word on botulism, lard making, what to do with old canning lids, Jean Nance's fork test, and a couple of new sites. Enjoy, the beginning of September was rec.food.preserving's first birthday. And despite "paltry traffic--NetGuide", we've gotten 2500 posts/year with a lot of terrific posts! I look forward to the growing/food preserving season in Australia/ New Zealand! Leslie lebasil@ag.arizona.edu
