From: Allan D'Otter Date: 02-27-95 03:53 To: All Subj.: What Bunnies Are For - NB Area: Furry Recent events in an American university involving the Internet have prompted me to point this out for the record. "What Bunnies Are For" is a work of fiction. No real persons are used or named in this work. Any resemblance between any real person, living or dead, and any character appearing in "What Bunnies Are For" is purely coincidental. What that means is that I picked all the names in the story at random or else invented them, with the sole exception of the IWW, which union I'm cheering on at this point. "What Bunnies Are For" is intended as social commentary. As such, certain acts which the author finds reprehensible are depicted anyway for literary purposes. WARNING -- The author will be happy to report to the police any crime or threat or councelling to commit a crime similar to any scene in "What Bunnies Are For" as soon as he is made aware of it, (or any other crime for that matter). Under no circumstances should the depiction of any act in this story be taken for approval, consent or recommendation of that act. (There are some _nice_ things that happen in my story which I would recommend, if I weren't scared crapless that advocating hugs might be seen by some as therefore advocating torture. So I don't even recommend doing any of the nice things that happen in my story.) "What Bunnies Are For" is copyright 1995 by Allan D. Burrows. All Rights Reserved after publication. "What Bunnies Are For" may be re-distributed electronically but may not be reproduced for profit without my permission and most certainly may not be altered in any way. I don't seriously believe that any of this will protect me from prosecution if somebody registers a complaint, but at least I've done what I can. Allan Burrows ... Question Authority ... Why not? They'll question you!
